700 Club
In September our annual 700 Club fundraiser starts. This draw regularly raises over £3000 for club funds and one lucky person will celebrate the New Year £5000 richer!!
The tickets are £15 each and we have 14 weekly draws with prizes of £50 and two £25. Then on the 15th week (New Years Eve) we have two prizes £5000 and £1000!!!
You can pay for your tickets all at once or on a weekly basis, for more information or tickets, please contact Christine at the club.

Halloween Social
Around 40 people enjoyed a night of dancing and games raising around £100 for club funds.
New Years Eve Social
Over 60 people including senior members, Old Boys and the Senior Citizens group enjoyed a fun packed evening to bring in the New Year!
Sportsman's Dinner (Tickets now available for 2010)
In early February every year we hold our annual Sportsman's Dinner. This is by far one of our most successful fundraising events of the year raising around £2000 for the club.
This year over 80 people was treated to an excellent evening compared by Mike King, with Alec Stepney (ex Manchester United) as guest speaker and Mike Farrell, as comedian.

Annual Dinner Dance And Presentation Evening
In early May we hold our celebration evening where we reward our members and volunteers for their achievements throughout the year.

13th Annual Golf Day
17 teams took part in another successful event at Plessington Golf Club near Blackburn. Thanks to all the teams who entered, but especially our main sponsors Catalyst and Cassons and to our Vice Chairman, Peter who organized the event, which raised around £3000 for club funds.
Sports Day At Barden
On the 6th July 2008 we held our second "Sports Day". This event has replaced our annual "Fun Day" which we ran for many years.
This year we showcased many sports in conjunction with the Burnley Sports Alliance, from 5 a side football, netball, boxing, team building games dance and cheerleading demos as well as a preview of the activities on offer at the Boys' club.
The weather was awful, but we still managed to attract over 500 people to the event and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Line Dancing Social With Loose Boots
In September we had over 80 people attend our "Line Dancing" Social with Loose Boots. Everybody enjoyed a wonderful evening and we raised over £200 for club funds.
Burnley Boys' Club 10k Race
Over 80 runners braved the elements to run our 25th annual 10k race.
The race was won in a new record time of 32.52 shaving 9 seconds off the previous record, by Robin Whiteley, who is on holiday from Australia!!

Ashoka Restaurant Fundraiser
Around 80 people from all areas of the club enjoyed an evening at the "Ashoka Restaurant" in August. This event raised over £500 for club funds.
Peter Maddock who organized the event said, " It was good to see members, old Boys and friends of the club all socialising together and raising so much money for the club"
